Early From September to October!

Order Protein Binding, Get Complimentary Plasma Stability

Our early autumn offer is for plasma protein binding by rapid equilibrium dialysis (RED).

Determination of the protein biding tendency of the drug candidate is an important analysis as only the unbound drug is available for interaction with a pharmacological target and diffusion or transport across membranes.

In September-October each RED study will be coupled with a complimentary plasma stability study in one time point (4 h).

Leaving and Arriving

Our Customer Loyalty Manager Ms Paula Hyvönen is leaving us. We are very sad to see her go. We want to thank her for a job excellently done and wish her all the best with her new challenges. Before we find someone to fill her big (but small-sized) shoes, we kindly ask you to turn to our executive assistant Mrs Satu Kaappola for any customer loyalty related matters.

We have hired a new scientist to strengthen our research service team. MSc Petri Reponen will start in October and bring in a wealth of experience from Professor Olavi Pelkonens metabolism group. We heartily welcome him to our team.

Summer time campaign

Single molecules normally miss out on the cost synergy that multiple molecules studies benefit from. We have a solution to this!

This summer we are offering a pile-up campaign of CYP inhibition potency (a cocktail study revealing reversible IC50 towards 9 main drug metabolising CYPs) where you can send us your single molecules to be studied among single molecules from other customers. Due to the collecting and collective nature of this campaign, the turnaround time is longer than for normal InhibCYP study, however, this is compensated by a considerable price reduction of 25%.

All the molecules sent to us before the 10th of August will be studied and reported before the end of August, at the latest. For further information and prices, please contact us here.

Quotation notice

Due to the overlapping holidays, there will be a slightly longer processing time for quotations requests posted in weeks 28 & 29 (July 12-23). this will have no influence on the turnaround times of studies already placed.

MetaboPilot - A FREE-OF-CHARGE METABOLITE PROFILING TRIAL AVAILABLE

Novamass offers a risk-free and expense-free possibility to test our services, performance and way-of-doing by providing the first-time customers with a possibility to send us one molecule for MetaboPilot, a metabolite profiling study revealing:

• Metabolic stability of NCE
• Tentative structures of formed metabolites

The study is performed with human liver microsomes and both substrate depletion and metabolic transformations are followed by UPLC/TOF-MS, which is a superior tool for metabolite mining.This study can be used to obtain metabolite profile information for an unknown molecule or to compare already existing results to known compound.
